My daughter Sruthi has been learning Carnatic classical music from Mrs. Shubha Ganesan for the past five years.  It has been a wonderful learning experience .Dr. Shubha Ganesan teaches with immense dedication. Her classes are so absorbing that my child learns right when she is taught. She repeats the sangathis over and over again to make sure that the child has understood and is able to render it well. She adheres to time and duration in her classes and teaches complex krithis and Varnams with ease. My child's musical ability has tremendously increased especially in her learning to sing with bhaavam. She indicates the intricacies of the particular raga and makes sure that the child has mastered the piece well before she proceeds to the next piece. We feel fortunate to have been blessed with such a dedicated guru and look forward to many musical years with Dr. Shubha Ganesan.

My daughter varshini has been learning carnatic music lessons from shubha for over two years now and we see a tremendous improvement in her skills. The first thing that shubha did was to ensure varshini had her basic lessons firmly set before taking her down the path of advanced lessons. It took few months to get the basics tuned but we feel it was well worth the attempt and try. Varshini has made great progress over the past one year. She has been singing in couple of places and noticing the improvement and maturity in varshni's musical career, our friends have enrolled their kids under the tutelage of shubha as well. This is a great testament for shubha's talent and her ability to bring the best out of each and every kid that she teaches.
